This 23″ x 27″ oil painting was painted in 2020. Along the road to Point Udal, the eastern most point on St. Croix, is a scenic lookout. I capture the landscape looking east at a peaceful hill. The winding road leads upward to the Point Udal Monument on top of the hill. There is a secluded beach just to the bottom of the road at the lookout spot with lots of shells and rocks. The surf and beach line has bright colors. The road goes up the hill to the Compass Rose Sundial Monument, also famed as the most eastern point of the United States.
